Allergic Reaction by T.A. Moorman

NATURE OF MAGIC by J. C. Madison

Selene lost more than just her parents the day they died, so now she keeps everyone at arm's lengths because you can't lose what you don't have.
Can a reclusive artist and a stubborn witch overcome their fears and differences to find a HEA? Or is it destined to be over before it's even begun?

Vichter is desperate to get his egg back home, safe and sound. But when he is shot out of the sky and must take refuge in Ashlyn’s farmhouse, he’s torn between his duty as Guardian and his desperate need to protect and claim his mate. One catastrophic Easter Egg Hunt later, he realizes the fiery woman might be more fierce than helpless, so how can he convince the little warrior that she needs him?

TRAIL BINDING by T Elizabeth Guthrie

Keldan must find Frankie before Ostara in order to save himself and his people. Not even a war with the Ogres will stop him from claiming the woman he’s fallen in love with.

Pryce McIntyre is a social worker at La Petite Haven, a group home for children in a converted Gothic estate. She spends her evenings on her balcony to unwind, chatting with a concrete gargoyle whose lips won’t repeat her rendition of the day’s events.

On a night when the stars were unusually shimmery and lustrous, her reverie is interrupted as Guidry, the gargoyle, turns into his human form. Handsome, sexy, and with a Scottish accent, the attraction is immediate.

Until he starts talking and reveals his true self is a demon. Sparks fly, but she keeps him at arm’s length, something he’s not used to. Can Pryce change his wicked ways so he can find salvation?

When he meets Toby, a little boy who seems to be on the same fast track to trouble Guidry himself had taken, the demon has to reign in his own bad behavior. When Toby finds himself in danger, can a gargoyle come to the rescue?

And can Pryce control her heart until his three days are up?

SPRING AWAKENING by Natalie-Nicole Bates

Catherina Cabot has quite a story to tell. She claims that after the murder of her family, she was imprisoned inside the crypt for over one hundred years.

Micki is torn between believing whether Catherina’s story is true, or she is merely disturbed and has assumed the identity of a long-deceased woman.

As the two grow closer, they realize they have a lot more in common than they first thought, and that Fate may have sent them both an Easter miracle.

Upwards Over the Mountain by Alison M. Diem

In high school, Hemery Dyllan helped his best friend (and secretly the love of his life) Elliot Hardstark escape his abusive father. In the process, Hemery found out that Elliot wasn’t entirely human, and that Hemery was willing to do anything to keep Elliot safe. After ten years without each other, save a series of dreams that Hemery can’t even be sure were real, they’re reunited, but for how long? Can they find a way to be together or are they destined to be apart?

Of Opals and Dragons Eggs By Amanda Ruehle

Grant Harrison has found friendship— and maybe something more— with someone he was sure couldn’t exist: Moonlily, a feisty little fairy with a protective streak a mile wide and a secret that’s even bigger. When her secret— and the danger it brings— rears its head when he takes home for Easter, will the two of them have what it takes to survive?

The Spirit of Little Feather by Judy C. Swinson

A childless couple adopts a small child, Maria, in Alabama. When Danny is born eight years later to the couple, Maria learns she is adopted. As a teenager, she’s hungry to find out about her own biological parents and begs her parents to help her. Although her mother is patient and understands her need to know, Maria sees no action on her parent’s part to find out for her.

Then it appears the sun and stars align. On a church sponsored youth trip during Easter week, Maria meets Christain, a young man who is the group’s guide. On a kayak trip down the Crystal River, Maria feels a breeze on her face, no one else in the group feels and she hears sounds no one else hears and sees things no one else sees, except Christian does. Learning they are both adopted, will Christain hold the key to unlock the answers to Maria’s questions about where she comes from? Sometimes it’s in the timing that opens the doors to life’s questions.

Honey and the Easter Bear by Kathia Iblis

When Honey Evans accepted her friend Amy’s invitation to spend Easter with her family, she had no idea her life was about to change forever because in the Alaskan wilderness humans are not always welcome — and bears do not always stay in their animal form. Kody Cavanaugh, alpha of the Kodiak shifter clan, wanted nothing to do with humans or shifters who associate with them. But the Alaskan wilderness is an unpredictable territory that might just bring him what he had always longed for: a delicate human female. Misgivings, broken eggs and Easter traditions brought them together, but will that be enough or are they destined to lose each other?

Sent to Me by Rena Marin

When her life begins to fall apart, Harley Morgan finds herself relying on the help of a food-loving, breathtaking guardian angel by the name of Sebastian. While he watches over her, the two of them find themselves fighting not only dark forces but their feelings for one another. Will Sebastian win the fight and keep Harley safe, or will their feelings for one another tear apart everything they are fighting for?

No Arrows Needed by Skylar McKinzie

When Todd falls in love with Tara, it goes against the Cupid’s code and puts his wings in danger. What will be more important to Todd? His wings...or his heart?

Bad Egg by Tiffany Carby

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wonderful paranormal romance with shifters. Definitely heavy on the romance with smoldering hero Priest. He is a dominant alpha male in every sense of the word. When he meets Kateri, he may well have met his match and be brought to his knees by his mate. Kateri isn't sure what to believe about the things she is being told. Ever since she was a little girl, her father told her everything was nonsense. Now she'll have to trust in Priest to keep her safe and trust her heart.

A great setup in the first book of this series. It leaves you ready for book two. There's plenty of room for growth with all the different shifters. I look forward to reading Elise's story.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book I have always been a fan of wolf shifters but there was something even better about the Arctic Wolf Shifters in this book that made it even better. Gavin and Amelia were amazing together and I loved reading about them. It was amusing to read of a wolf shifter who was afraid of flying but it made for a better story. I would love to see where this series goes from here.

Review: Diaper Duty Vampire

Diaper Duty Vampire by R. E. Mullins

During the Civil War, Union soldier, John Alden took a musket ball to the gut. As he gasped his final breath, he was turned into a vampire and started life anew in Amber Heights, Missouri. For over one hundred and fifty years, he's lived a rather solitary life as a vampire Enforcer.

Young single mother, Joann Clarkson, needs a job and fast. Hoping to be rehired, she returns to Dr. Michaela Blautsauger's lab prepared to eat a hefty helping of humble pie. She comes to regret that decision when she's taken hostage. Things look grim but she'll never stop fighting to escape. Her son needs his mama.

As an Enforcer, John must hunt down the vampire who kidnapped Joann. In his search, John winds up babysitting her toddler Cody. Changing diapers might be worse than getting staked, but nothing compares to how he feels when both mother and child fall into danger again.

Diaper Duty Vampire (Vampires of Amber Heights Book 1)Diaper Duty Vampire by R E Mullins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a cute book- very different than most stuff out there. The main character was adorable, you can tell he's a "mans man" but facing down a toddler was just his perfect match to unbalance his manliness- at first. The tasks told of what he goes through was amazing to read in the sense that a man almost NEVER has to deal with what he did and he tackled it head on and almost perfectly. This book cracked me up at his cluelessness (if that is even a word) with what taking care of a toddler actually requires and it was so great to read. Of course when the mom is introduced into the mix I totally understood her concerns as a mother as well and the scenario she was in. The chemistry between them was sweet and not BAM in your face- I thought it was really well written to be honest. This is a great book and I'm interested to see where the next book will take us.

The man slowly turns his head, and bright emerald eyes lock with my own slate blue ones. I swallow hard before jerking my eyes away from his to focus on the patient. “What happened?”
The little boy on the exam table looks between the man and me. His brow is furrowed in confusion. When he realizes the man isn’t answering he takes it upon himself to do so. “I jumped off the swing.”
“A daredevil I see.” I force a smile on my face even though the man is still blocking my way. Reminding myself time is of the utmost importance I ask. “Umm, do you mind moving, so I can check out his arm?”
Before he can respond I hear the front door bell ding, muffled voices, and the sound of more foot fall heading my way. I twist my head to look behind me only to find the largest man I’ve ever seen.  He has to duck his head to walk into the room, he’s so tall. Somehow, I work up the courage to ask. “Can I help you?”
Around the giant man a small attractive brunette woman pushes through and answers for him. “That’s our son.”
“Then who is this?” I ask pointing at the man still on his knees.
“My brother.” The giant answers, and then as if taking in the strange scene for the first time asks. “What in the world are you doing on the ground?”
Oddly, instead of responding to his brother, still staring at me, the man on his knees says. “You smell like peppermint cocoa.”
“Oh hell.” The brunette woman says before giggling.
“About time.” The giant chuckles.
I ignore them both and ask. “What?”
The man slowly picks himself up off the floor, moves closer to me (not that we aren’t all already cramped in this small room), and states. “You smell like a Christmas drink.”
“Did you fall too?” I ask.
“What?” He asks in return.
“Did you fall and hit your head?” I elaborate my earlier question.
The woman and giant break out into hysterical laughter this time. What is wrong with these people?
“Of course, I haven’t.”
“Have you been drinking?” I ask, keeping with my line of questions. The parents of the boy start to laugh harder. I continue to ignore them.
“Are you asking if I’m drunk?” The man questions me back.
 “Well, yes.”
“Alcohol has no impact on shifters.” I hear Megan holler from outside the room, having clearly been listening in to this train wreck.
“Really?” I ask the man.
“Really.” He responds, obviously getting agitated.
“Can they be diabetic?” I ask my next question.
“What the hell are you getting at?” The man asks, his bright green eyes flashing with agitation.
“You’re not making any sense, so I’m trying to assess the situation to make sure there’s nothing medically wrong with you.” I explain what I believe is obvious. Instead of responding the man starts emanating a low growl.
I turn my head to ask the giant. “Is this normal behavior from your brother?”
Wiping the tears of laughter from his eyes, he responds, “Absolutely not.”
“Okay. Should I be concerned that he’s growling like that?” I have no experience around shifters, other than Doc, and not once in the all the years I’ve known him has he ever growled at me.
“He’s not going to harm you.” The giant answers, giving me some relief.
“He might bite her.” The woman gives as a contradicting answer.

Return of the Lycan King: Nicholas and KristenReturn of the Lycan King: Nicholas and Kristen by Candace Blackburn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a first read of this author for me and I absolutely LOVED IT! I cannot wait for the next book but it looks like it might be a while since this was published in 2015. The chemistry between Nicolas and Kristen was hot. I loved how real Kristen's character was with the flaws she was dealing with mainly in her mind as she had overcome her issues. For me I love when books such of this nature still have very real human characteristics and then those with some of the harder to relate to make it just more believable in my opinion. As normal with mates it is instant attraction, but with Kristen being raised human she doesn't quite understand it which I think is a universal thing when it comes to the "perfect man" showing interest in you. The side characters were perfect and I love the twists throughout the book and they were done just right. Yes there is a cliffhanger but it wasn't the worst one I've read but it will definitely leave the mind reeling.

Can this lone Dragon King help the woman he’s grown to love to uncover the truth about her past—or will a deep and fiery danger tear them both apart?

Heat (Dark Kings, #12)

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Whew! Fanning self at the moment. The title of this book is aptly named. Nikolai and Esther have unbelievable chemistry that fills the pages. They are made for one another. I absolutely love this series. The Dragon shifters are smokin' hot, pun intended. There's no need to start at the beginning of this series because each book is perfect as a standalone. However, after reading one, you may want to go back and plow through the others. Nikolai's story is fantastic! There are other paranormals in this book that you will notice throughout the series. You may need to check and see if your favorite has a story out already.

This author always does a splendid job when it comes to creating her characters and their back story. While there are hurdles to overcome, as with most paranormal romances, readers are guaranteed awesomeness in this book along with a happily ever after. And yes, I'm still waiting for Rhi's book.
