From One Mom To Another

CAN YOU SAY NO TO A FACE LIKE THIS??
Especially when she is doing a selfless deed.
Continue reading to learn how you can help the young lady on the left, Annalisa, in her Quest to earn her *Girl Scout Summit Award while furthering the research of **Cystic Fibrosis.  A medical condition that is close to her heart in many ways.

As some of you may know the lovely Vanessa has been the cause to me becoming not only a Brownie Mom, but a Troop Leader (yes, I know the irony, and I still cringe at night thinking about it).  One of the Moms' reached out last night, asking for help for her daughter.  I am always willing to help a Mom, as most Moms' should be.  Motherhood creates an unspoken, unseen, kindred bond between all Mothers', no, I do not mean we all like each other, just that we do our best to help one another when asked.

Bonnie left this message on the Community Board:  "Good Evening everyone! I am posting this on behalf of my daughter who is working towards her Summit Award. She is doing World of Girls, and decided for her Take Action Project to walk for Cystic Fibrosis in support of her cousin who has CF and a great cousin who passed at the age of 18 of CF. You would have to know my daughter and my niece, who have very strong personalities, both feel they WILL change the world one way or another. If you can spare any change and would like to make a donation. Here is my daughter, Annalisa Ventimiglia's, Page for the walk.  Thank you! Even if you can not donate please feel free to read about CF."

Annalisa's Goal is only $200, so if you think about it, if 100 people donate no more than a dollar she will be half-way there.  So if you can, please do so.  If you can't, but know someone who can, please pass along her link, as well as her message.  (Yes, as far as I know, it is an official site, no gimmicks or get rich quick schemes.  If it was, trust me the Girl Scout Council would have her head.  They're more lethal than the FBI.)

*The Journey Summit Award Pin is earned by girls who have completed all three National Leadership Journeys at their grade level. The colored border around each pin corresponds to their grade level.

**Cystic fibrosis is a disease passed down through families that causes thick, sticky mucus to build up in the lungs, digestive tract, and other areas of the body. It is one of the most common chronic lung diseases in children and young adults. It is a life-threatening disorder.
